Artificial iNTELLIGENCE

Last edited 5/16/17

There have been many arguments in this domain of whether computers or better known as "Androids" would be in total control of humans . Let's analyze this situation and assess whether it can be done or not . Lawn Tennis is a popular sport and just like many other sports people compete and beat each other to win the trophy . Imagine a situation where Bots would be playing , try to imagine , I mean would there be any double faults , unforced errors or one bot retiring due to fatigue . Hard to imagine ! . We love sports because of the error that is involved in them . Roger Federer can play one handed backhand whereas Novak Djokovic plays two handed backhand but both are equally good when a backhand is to be played . The textbook favors double handed backhand but it is the improvisation of error that makes a single handed competitively equal . Would bots be able to do this ? Improvising on their mistakes . Is there an algorithm for that ? AI is a long way to go possibly 2000 years and even then we may see bots doing 50% of what we do !

Artificial Intelligence-Part 2

There is a lot going on about AI cutting jobs and leaving people unemployed.I believe that AI would not cut jobs because if you will look at the 19th century, people were involved in agricultural and manufacturing sector but after the industrial revolution and quasi-assembly operations a large section of the workforce shifted in service sector.Similarly after 100 years as most of the things will automate even more people will be in the service sector.Ultimately humans in about 1000 years will be in jobs which require mental labor(thinking ,consulting etc.).We have advanced because of our brains and not because of our strength.

Using GIT and other Version Control Systems

Why Git ?

1) Gives you a platform to contribute. You can collaborate with other users.

2) Even if you are an independent worker, it still gives you the opportunity of testing your work in front of thousand other developers.

3) Let's say your computer cracks down, or some program stops working. You have all your files safe and secure.
